We’re hiring a Founder’s Associate to do what the founders do. You’ll take whole problems off our plate, and build the systems that let a small team run like a much bigger one.
About the role
This is not a support role. It’s the role you take when you want to learn how a company actually works from the inside, across every function, and you’d rather build a system than run a task twice.
One week you’re rebuilding the revenue reporting so we stop reconciling numbers by hand. The next you’re shipping a landing page and a lifecycle email sequence. The one after that you’re mapping our onboarding funnel and fixing the step where customers drop off. The remit is whatever is broken, unowned, or worth automating.
The thing that makes it work is how you use AI. We run this company AI-native: Claude and Claude Code are in the loop on marketing, finance, ops, and product every day. We expect you to be genuinely good at it — not “I use ChatGPT sometimes” but building agents, writing the context and prompts that make them reliable, and knowing when to stop delegating and do it yourself.
What you’ll do
- Marketing systems: own campaign execution end to end. Landing pages, lifecycle email, content production, reporting on what actually drove pipeline.
- Finance systems: revenue and cash reporting, pricing analysis, vendor and subscription spend, board-ready numbers that don’t need a rebuild every month.
- Operations systems: internal tooling, workflow automation, hiring logistics, and the unglamorous plumbing that keeps a remote team fast.
- Product systems: customer feedback loops, onboarding funnels, competitive research, and writing the specs that turn a founder’s half-formed idea into something engineering can build.
- Build with AI, not around it: turn recurring work into agents and scripts. If you do it three times by hand, you build the system on the fourth.
- Take whole problems: you get context and an outcome, not a checklist. You come back with it done.
What we’re looking for
- Base salary: $50k-80k, depending on experience
- Performance bonus: ARR-based bonus (up to 100% of salary), plus 1.25x multiplier based on individual performance
- 2-5 years in consulting, banking, ops, growth, or an early-stage startup — or a track record that makes the years irrelevant
- Genuinely AI-native: you handle Claude extremely well. You build agents and automations, you write the context that makes them work, and you have opinions about where they fail
- Comfortable with numbers: you can build a model, read a P&L, and spot when a metric is lying to you
- Technical enough to be dangerous: SQL, spreadsheets, APIs, and a willingness to read the code. You don’t need to be an engineer, but “I’ll wait for engineering” isn’t an answer
- Extreme ownership: you follow your work through to the finish, and you’d rather ask forgiveness than permission
- Comfortable with ambiguity. The role changes shape every quarter, and that’s the point
